Parks is proud to highlight an amazing agent from our East Nashville office, Abigail Hale!

Abigail has been a part of the Parks family since she got her license two years ago. She holds a bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Political Science from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. When it comes to real estate, Abigail specializes in the urban core and first-time homebuyers.

Prior to her career in real estate, Abigail spent 13 years in the consumer packaged goods business. She has been fortunate to work for some of the leading companies in this space including Mars, PepsiCo, and Coca-Cola. The last six years of her time in this industry were spent in national account management where she made the headquarters sales calls for major retailers like Dollar General, Sheetz, and Pilot Flying J.

Abigail chose to pursue a career in real estate because she has always had an interest in the industry. Initially, she had completed the coursework and licensing in 2008 but decided to take a different path for the time being. Whether she was buying or selling a home for herself or helping friends during their home search, it was clearly something Abigail had an interest in. Around two and a half years ago, as she was buying another home, she realized that she should be doing what makes her happy and decided to take the huge leap of faith of getting into real estate full-time.

When asked why she chose to join the Parks Family of REALTORS®, Abigail stated, “I grew up in Murfreesboro and the yellow signs of Bob Parks Realty were synonymous with real estate. When I began interviewing brokerages, it became apparent that Parks was still the go-to name in real estate in Middle Tennessee.” She continued, “I felt that their training, systems, tools, and marketing resources were superior to other brokerages. I also loved the idea of being part of an office right in the center of my East Nashville neighborhood.”

If Abigail could offer a tip to new agents, it would be to be authentic. She knows it can be easy to compare yourself to others in the business but she recommends focusing on your own path to success and to be true to your core values. “Don’t be afraid to ask questions or sign up for all the classes – especially Ninja. Also, trust your training and form mentorship relationships. I learn something new every day in this business and I hope that never stops,” she said.

Abigail is a Middle Tennessee native and has lived in Nashville for 13 years. She was named Rookie of the Year for the Parks in East Nashville office during her first year in real estate. Abigail is also currently a member of the Greater Nashville REALTORS® Young Professionals Network Council. In her spare time, she loves working out at Shed East Nashville and Klug Fitness, trying new restaurants throughout the city, spending time outside, reading books, and traveling – preferably somewhere with a beach. Abigail is also expecting her first child, a baby girl, at the end of October!
